Auctions

Do you make jewelry, own a vacation home, have money to spend on a giftbasket, do wood working, have Lagotto items or any possible thing todonate?!?  We would love to include it in the auctions.

Online Auction - Opens July 10th - click here

The club will be hosting an online auction the week before the National Specialty for anyone in the country to bid! You do not have to be in attendance to participate in the auction!  We want this to be our biggest one yet with lots of good items and lots of money raised for the club! For the online auctions, please message Kendal Walters here to list your donation!  Nothing is too small and it does not have to be dog related!

Judges Education

This is a 90 minute presentation with Q and A throughout, accompanied by 1 hour of hands on judging and discussion of 4-6 examples of our breed. At the National Specialty the hands on may occur after judging on a different day from the National itself. Judges Education at a National Specialty currently carries 3 CEU credits through AKC Judging operations.

While the primary focus is to train aspiring judges to appreciate, recognize, and reward the best qualities of the breed, it is also open to serious fanciers and breeders. Priority is given to aspiring judges in both availability of seating and the questions during the Q and A sessions.

$25 for judges and free to LRCA members.

Danielle Daws is a balanced trainer who enjoys teaching handlers how to work with their dogs to increase engagement, build confidence, and develop communication. She is a registered AKC evaluator and competes in AKC Rally Obedience with her dog Rabbit. She is also the only Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer (CPCFT) in the Carolinas.

Danielle is an experienced pet obedience trainer, but her passion is in canine fitness and trick training. Both fitness and tricks use positive training techniques to build a better dog through improved health, better body awareness, and exceptional two-way communication. Students who master these skills find that they have the tools needed to train almost any behavior. Dogs who participate in fitness programs are stronger, have better balance, and are less likely to be injured in dog sports.
